Almond Legend Cake Recipe

1/3 cup Almond extract
1/2 cup Chopped almonds, plus extra whole almonds for decoration

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Pan: Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Generously grease a Bundt or 10-inch tube pan.

  2. Add Almonds: Gently press 1/2 cup of chopped almonds into the bottom and halfway up the sides of the prepared pan.

  3. Prepare Batter: In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, 1/2 cup of orange juice, water, vegetable oil, almond extract, and eggs. Beat at low speed until the mixture is moist.

  4. Beat: Increase the speed to high and beat for 2 minutes until the batter is smooth and well combined.

  5. Add Whole Almonds: Stir in the whole almonds, being careful not to overmix. Carefully pour the batter into the prepared pan.
