Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 plum tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 cup marsala wine
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 lb linguine, cooked according to package instructions

Instructions:

Step Description
1 Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl then dredge shrimp in it.
2 Heat 2 tsp of the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
3 Add the shrimp to the pan and sautรฉ for 5 minutes or until golden.
4 Remove shrimp and set aside.
5 Add 1 tsp oil to the pan.
6 Add garlic and mushrooms and sautรฉ for 3 minutes.
7 Add tomato and cook for 1 minute.
8 Stir in the shrimp, wine, and water.
9 Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes or until sauce thickens.
10 Serve over cooked linguine pasta.
