Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 plum tomato, chopped
- 1/2 cup marsala wine
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 lb linguine, cooked according to package instructions
Instructions:
Step | Description |

1 | Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl then dredge shrimp in it. |
2 | Heat 2 tsp of the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. |
3 | Add the shrimp to the pan and sautรฉ for 5 minutes or until golden. |
4 | Remove shrimp and set aside. |
5 | Add 1 tsp oil to the pan. |
6 | Add garlic and mushrooms and sautรฉ for 3 minutes. |
7 | Add tomato and cook for 1 minute. |
8 | Stir in the shrimp, wine, and water. |
9 | Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes or until sauce thickens. |
10 | Serve over cooked linguine pasta. |
