Instructions:

Prepare Ingredients:
- Wash and shred the spinach.
- Wash the chicken and cut it into small dices.
- Peel and finely chop the onion.
- Peel and finely chop the garlic.
- Boil the potatoes until tender, then peel and mash them.

Cooking the Soup:
- In a soup pot, heat a combination of oil and butter.
- Add bay leaves and sauté until fragrant.
- Add chopped garlic and onion, and sauté until translucent.
- Add shredded spinach and discard the bay leaves.
- Season with salt, crushed peppercorns, and water. Cook for about 10 minutes on medium flame.
- Add mashed potatoes and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add milk.
- Blend the mixture in a blender to obtain a smooth spinach puree.

- Heat oil in a pan and fry the bread pieces until they begin to change color.
