Homemade Chicken Broth Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500 grams chicken bones (with a bit of meat remaining)
- Water (as needed)
- A few stalks of green onions (cut into large pieces)
- 3 cm piece of ginger (crushed)
Instructions:

-
Boil Water:
Begin by bringing a large pot of water to a boil. -
Add Ingredients:
Once the water is boiling, add the chicken bones, green onions, and crushed ginger. -
Simmer and Skim:
Allow the pot to remain uncovered while simmering. Occasionally, skim off any foam or impurities that rise to the surface. -
Adjust Water Levels:
As the water level decreases, replenish it with hot water (avoid using cold water to prevent altering the broth’s flavor). Continue this process until the broth has been simmering for approximately 2 hours. -
Final Touches:
After about 2 hours, the broth should have a rich, golden color. Remove from heat and strain the broth to discard the solid ingredients.
Enjoy your homemade chicken broth as a flavorful base for soups, stews, and various dishes!
