Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup margarine
  • 1/3 cup pecans
  • 1/4 cup butter (for dipping biscuits)

Instructions

Step Description Time
1 Preheat oven to 400Β°F. 1 minute
2 Sprinkle sugar on the bottom of a well-greased 9″ layer pan; cover with pecans. 3 minutes
3 Melt 3/4 cup of butter and margarine together until smooth. 2 minutes
4 Pour the melted butter and margarine mixture over the pecans. 1 minute
5 Dip each biscuit in the remaining 1/4 cup of melted butter. 3 minutes
6 Arrange 15 biscuits overlapping around the outer edge of the pan and 5 in the center. 4 minutes
7 Bake at 400Β°F for 23-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the caramel is bubbling. 25 minutes
8 Let the cake stand for 5 minutes before carefully inverting it onto a serving plate. 5 minutes
