This Cornbread, affectionately known as “Mieliebrood,” has earned its place as the star of our Thanksgiving feasts, earning me the title of “The Cornbread Lady!” Its moist texture and delightful flavor make it a perfect accompaniment to pork chops or any main dish you desire.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup white cornmeal
- 1 cup cake flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sweetcorn kernels

- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
