Ingredients:
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups milk
- 10 eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:
- Pierce the sweet potatoes several times with a fork and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the sweet potatoes at 375°F for about 1 hour or until they are tender. Let them cool until they are comfortable to touch.
- Peel the sweet potatoes and mash them. Set aside 1 cup of mashed sweet potatoes, reserving any remaining for another use.
- Sprinkle sugar evenly in a 10-inch round cake pan. Place the pan over medium heat and cook, shaking it constantly, until the sugar melts and turns a light golden brown.
- Remove the pan from heat and set it aside. (Note: The melted sugar may crack slightly as it cools).
- In a blender, combine half of the mashed sweet potatoes, 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, and half of the ground cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Pour the mixture into a large bowl. Repeat the blending process with the remaining half of the ingredients and add it to the bowl. Stir well with a wire whisk to combine.
- Pour the mixture over the caramelized sugar in the cake pan. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and place it in a larger shallow pan.
