Grilled Pineapple with Honey and Cinnamon

Pineapple 1 whole
Multifloral Honey 4 tablespoons
Ground Cinnamon to taste
Brown Sugar 4 tablespoons
Fresh Mint a few leaves
Butter as needed

Instructions

To prepare the Grilled Pineapple with Honey and Cinnamon, start by removing the tough core of the pineapple using a specific coring tool. Once the core is removed, slice the pineapple into thick rings or wedges.

Next, melt the butter and brush one side of each pineapple slice with the melted butter. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat until it is hot. Once ready, place the pineapple slices, buttered side down, on the grill. Allow them to cook for about two minutes until they develop a golden brown sear.

While the first side is grilling, brush the top side of the pineapple slices with more melted butter. After two minutes, flip the pineapple slices over to grill the other side for another two minutes until both sides are nicely caramelized and tender.

Once the pineapple slices are perfectly grilled, remove them from the pan and transfer them to a serving platter. Drizzle the warm slices with honey, and sprinkle ground cinnamon over the top. To add a fresh, aromatic touch, garnish with a few sprigs of fresh mint.
