At our last Weight Watchers meeting, I heard about this scrumptious dessert and was intrigued by its unusual ingredients. Once I tried it, I was blown away by how easy it was to make and even more delighted by how delicious it turned out! No one could believe it was a “low-fat” dessert. Truly, it’s Yummy!

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Prepare the Baking Dish: Lightly spray a 13×9-inch baking dish with vegetable spray to prevent sticking.

  3. Mix Cake Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix and the can of diet cola. Stir until the mixture is well combined and smooth. 🍰

  4. Bake the Cake: Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking dish. Spread it evenly with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely in the baking dish. 🔥

  7. Top with Cool Whip: Carefully “ice” the cake with the fat-free Cool Whip, spreading it gently over the pudding layer with a spatula to avoid mixing the layers. ❄️

  8. Garnish (Optional): If desired, garnish the top of the cake with chocolate shavings and chopped pecans. This adds a nice touch of texture and flavor, but keep in mind that it will add extra points if you’re following Weight Watchers. 🌰🍫

  9. Cut and Serve: Cut the cake into 15 equal squares. Each piece is just 3 Weight Watchers points, making it a guilt-free treat you can enjoy anytime!
