Healthy Beef Meatballs (Bakso Sapi Sehat)

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams ground beef
  • 5 tablespoons rolled oats
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Salt, pepper, and sugar to taste
  • 5 raw quail eggs
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Ice water, as needed
  • Water, for boiling the meatballs

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Meat Mixture: Using a food processor or blender, finely chop the ground beef, rolled oats, garlic, and a few tablespoons of ice water until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.

  2. Season the Mixture: Transfer the blended meat mixture to a bowl. Add the sliced green onions, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and a pinch of pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

  3. Incorporate Quail Eggs: Gently mix in the quail eggs, adding them one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully integrated into the mixture.

  4. Boil the Meatballs: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Shape the meat mixture into small balls using your hands and a spoon, then carefully drop them into the boiling water.

  5. Cook the Meatballs: Allow the meatballs to cook until they float to the surface, indicating they are done. Remove the meatballs with a slotted spoon and let them drain.

  6. Serve: The meatballs are now ready to be incorporated into soups or served with other dishes.

Enjoy these healthy beef meatballs in a variety of dishes, or simply as a nutritious snack!
