  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth

  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Heavy cream

Instructions:

  1. 🔥 Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. 🧻 Wipe each halibut fillet with a paper towel. Cut in half lengthwise and roll up each piece.
  3. 🍳 In a sauté pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add chicken broth or wine, garlic, tarragon, basil, Dijon mustard, tomatoes, and sugar. Sauté for 10 minutes.
  4. 🌬️ For a microwave method: Place butter in a 9-inch microwave-safe pie plate. Melt at high for 1 minute. Add broth or wine, garlic, tarragon or basil, Dijon mustard, tomatoes, and sugar. Cover and cook for 5 minutes at high. Stir well.
  5. 🍲 Butter a baking dish and place the halibut rolls side by side. Pour the sauce over them.
  6. 🍽️ Bake, covered, at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
  7. 🌬️ For microwave method: Place fish rolls in the dish, baste with the sauce. Cook 8 minutes at medium-high, basting halfway through.

  9. 🍲 Pour the sauce from the baking dish into a saucepan. Add cream and paprika. Stir and simmer over medium heat for 4 minutes.
  10. 🌬️ For microwave method: To the sauce remaining in the cooking dish, add cream and paprika. Stir, and cook for 2 minutes at high, stirring once.
