Ingredients:
- 1 large butternut squash, halved, peeled, and seeded
- 3 tart green apples, peeled, cored, and coarsely chopped
- 1 onion, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
- 1 teaspoon of dried marjoram
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 2 cups of water
- 2 slices of bread, torn into pieces
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
