Ingredients:
- 1 broccoli, chopped into small pieces
- 3 potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 sprig curry leaves, broken
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, as needed

Instructions:
- Prepare all the ingredients before starting to cook.
- Heat oil in a wok and add mustard seeds. Let them cook for 10 seconds.
- Add the potato wedges and salt. Cook the potatoes until they are soft and tender.
- Once the potatoes are cooked, add the turmeric powder and red chili powder. Stir well and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove the potatoes and set them aside.
- In the same wok, add a little more oil, then toss in the broccoli pieces and salt. Stir-fry the broccoli for 3-4 minutes, being careful not to overcook it.
- Add the cooked broccoli to the potatoes and mix well.
- Serve the Broccoli and Potato Poriyal hot with dal fry and phulkas for a complete meal.
