Hearty Vegetable and Beef Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 kg beef (including some beef bones for added flavor)
  • 4 carrots
  • 7 green beans
  • 6 cabbage leaves
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 small cauliflower
  • 1 red tomato

For the Spice Blend:

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp ground white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 3 cm ginger, lightly crushed
  • 2 stalks green onions (scallions)
  • 2 sprigs celery
  • Beef broth powder to taste
  • Fried shallots for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:

    • Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces according to your preference. Include the beef bones for a richer broth.
    • Wash the beef and bones thoroughly. Place them in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Simmer until the beef is tender and cooked through.
  2. Prepare the Vegetables:

    • While the beef is cooking, clean and chop the vegetables. Slice the carrots, green beans, cabbage, potatoes, and cauliflower into desired sizes. Dice the tomato.
  3. Cook the Vegetables:

  6. Serve:
