Beef Tomato Soup (Sup Tomat Daging Sapi)

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 kg beef, cut into cubes
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • Salt, to taste
  • A pinch of ground nutmeg
  • A pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon mushroom broth powder
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • Mixed vegetables: carrots, potatoes, and green peas
  • Sausages and meatballs, sliced
  • Margarine or cooking oil, for sautéing

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef: Begin by cutting the beef into small cubes. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the beef cubes. Cook until the beef is tender.

  2. Add Vegetables: Once the beef is tender, add the diced tomatoes, carrots, and potatoes to the pot. Continue to cook until the vegetables are soft and the tomatoes have broken down.

  3. Sauté Aromatics: In a separate pan, melt some margarine or heat cooking oil. Sauté the chopped onion and crushed garlic until they are golden and fragrant.
