Granny’s Ham and Artichoke Casserole ๐Ÿฒ

Description: This is a hearty, “warm you up” dish that my grandma used to make. It is one of the few things that I remember her making as she lived far from us, and I only saw her once a year. Enjoy the nostalgia and deliciousness of this comforting casserole!

Ingredients:

2 sherry wine
2 ham

Instructions:

  1. Drain artichoke hearts.
  2. Combine soup, onion, sherry, and garlic salt. Mix well.
  3. In a 3-quart casserole dish, place artichoke and ham. Pour soup mixture over the top, then add cheese over the soup mixture.
  4. Cover and bake for 25-30 minutes in a preheated 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) oven.
  5. Optional Variation: Before pouring the soup mixture, add 8 quartered hard-boiled eggs to the pan. However, if you’re not a fan of hard-boiled eggs, you can omit this step.
  6. Optional Topping: Five minutes before taking out of the oven, sprinkle chow mein noodles over the top.
  7. When finished cooking, sprinkle fresh ground pepper over the top before serving.
