Sup Daging Sapi (Indonesian Beef Soup)

Ingredients

  • 250 g (8.8 oz) boiled beef, cut into cubes
  • 1 liter (4.2 cups) beef broth
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1 liter (4.2 cups) water

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Gather all the ingredients. Ensure the beef is pre-boiled and cut into cubes.

  2. Sauté Aromatics: In a pan, sauté the sliced shallots and minced garlic until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. Simmer Beef: In a large pot, bring the beef broth to a boil. Add the beef cubes and let them simmer until they are tender.

  4. Add Water: Once the beef is tender, add the additional liter of water to the pot.
