Simple Chicken Soup
Ingredients:
- 1/4 kg chicken, cleaned and cut into pieces
- 2 small carrots, diced
- 1 small head of broccoli, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- Sugar, salt, and seasoning (e.g., Ladaku, Masako) to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions:
-
Start by soaking the diced carrots and chopped broccoli in hot water to soften them. Simultaneously, bring a pot of water to a boil and add the chicken pieces. Let the chicken cook until fully done, allowing it to simmer gently.
-
In a separate pan, melt the margarine over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, sautéing until they turn a golden brown and release a fragrant aroma.
-
Transfer the sautéed garlic and onion to the pot with the chicken. Add the softened carrots and broccoli to the mix. Pour in additional water if needed to ensure all ingredients are covered.
-
Allow the soup to continue simmering until the carrots are tender. Season with sugar, salt, and your choice of seasoning (such as Ladaku and Masako) to taste.
-
Taste and adjust the seasoning as necessary. Once satisfied with the flavor, serve the soup hot.
Enjoy this nourishing and easy-to-make chicken soup that’s perfect for any meal!
