Instructions

  2. Mix the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, stir together the cake mix and cocoa powder until thoroughly combined. Add the eggs, prepared coffee, water, and mashed bananas, then beat with an electric mixer on low speed for about 30 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides of the bowl frequently.

  3. Beat and Pour: Increase the mixer speed to medium and beat the batter for an additional 2 minutes, ensuring everything is well blended. Once mixed, pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.

  4. Bake the Cake: Place the cake pans in the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
