Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Rasam Powder

  1. Begin by dry roasting the Kandathipli, Arisithipli, Chana Dal, Ajwain, Cumin Seeds, Black Peppercorns, and Curry Leaves on low heat.
  2. Continue roasting until the spices release a fragrant aroma and the dal turns golden.
  3. Once roasted, transfer the ingredients to a mortar and pestle and grind them into a fine powder. Alternatively, you can use a spice grinder for a smoother consistency.
