Stir-Fried Chicken with Hoisin Sauce and Long Beans
Ingredients:
- 1 boneless chicken breast or thigh, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce, rice wine, tapioca
- Sauce Ingredients:
- 1 bunch long beans, trimmed and cut into pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 3 cm ginger, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon monosodium glutamate (MSG)
- 100 ml water
- Tapioca Solution
Instructions:
- Marinate the chicken with soy sauce, rice wine, and tapioca for 30 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, add the chicken, stir until cooked, then remove from the pan.
- Stir-fry the ginger for 10 seconds, add the garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the long beans, stir briefly, then add water, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, MSG. Cover the pan, reduce heat.
- Wait for 1-2 minutes, uncover the pan, stir briefly, then cover again for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the cooked chicken, mix well.
- Add the tapioca solution to thicken the sauce. Stir well and serve hot.
