Ingredients:

  • 4 cups flour
  • 8 tablespoons molasses
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions:

Step Description Time
1 Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. 10 minutes
2 Stir with a large spoon until the mixture is the consistency of thick cookie dough.
3 Drop tablespoons of dough onto a greased cookie sheet, spacing cookies 1 inch apart.
4 Bake at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour or until crisp. 1 hour
5 Remove from the oven, and cool for 30 minutes. 30 minutes

Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, molasses, and water.

  2. Mix Well: Stir the ingredients together with a large spoon until the mixture reaches the consistency of thick cookie dough. Ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.

  3. Form Cookies: Drop tablespoons of dough onto a greased cookie sheet, making sure to space the cookies about 1 inch apart to allow for spreading during baking.

  4. Bake: Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit (150 degrees Celsius). Bake the cookies for approximately 1 hour or until they are crisp and lightly browned.

  5. Cool: Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the cookie sheet for about 30 minutes. This will help them set and become firm.

Now your delicious Barn Cookies are ready to be served to your equine companions! Store any leftovers in an airtight container to keep them fresh for future snacking sessions. Enjoy watching your horses delight in these homemade treats! 🌟
