Nuttget Ayam dan Sayur

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 kg chicken
  • 1 carrot
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons tapioca flour
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 3 shallots
  • Green onions and celery leaves (green part only)
  • Black pepper
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Chicken bouillon powder (Royco) to taste

Steps:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Begin by filleting the chicken to separate the meat. For convenience, you can chop the chicken into smaller pieces and then use a blender to finely mince it.
    • Add the garlic, shallots, and egg to the blender with the chicken and blend until you get a smooth mixture.
  2. Vegetables and Flour Mixture:

    • Grate the carrot finely and thinly slice the green onions and celery leaves, using only the green parts.
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken mixture with the grated carrot, green onions, and celery leaves.
    • Add the all-purpose flour and tapioca flour to the mixture. If the mixture appears too runny, you can add more all-purpose flour to achieve a thicker consistency.
    • Season with chicken bouillon powder (Royco), salt, and black pepper. Mix everything until well combined.
  3. Steaming:

    • Prepare a steamer and pour the mixture into a suitable container for steaming.
    • Steam the mixture until it is fully cooked through. This typically takes about 20-30 minutes, but check to ensure it’s cooked thoroughly.
    • Allow the steamed mixture to cool completely.
  4. Forming the Nuggets:

    • Once cooled, cut the steamed chicken mixture into nugget-sized pieces according to your preference.
    • Prepare a bowl with beaten egg and another bowl with breadcrumbs.
    • Dip each nugget piece into the beaten egg (alternatively, you can mix all-purpose flour with a bit of water to create a batter).
    • Roll the egg-coated nugget in the breadcrumbs until fully covered.
  5. Cooking:

    • Heat oil in a pan for frying.
    • Fry the breaded nuggets until they turn golden brown and crispy.
    • Remove the nuggets from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
  6. Serving:

    • Serve the Nuttget Ayam dan Sayur hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
