Sop Daging Sapi (Beef Soup)
Ingredients:
- 1/4 kg beef
- 1/2 cauliflower
- 2 carrots
- 2 potatoes
- 6 cabbage leaves
- 1/4 head of cabbage
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 stalks of green onions
- 1 bunch of celery
Seasoning:
- 6 cloves of shallots
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 1 nutmeg
- 6 cardamom pods
- 1 piece of ginger
- Salt
- Pepper
- Cooking oil as needed
- Water as needed
Steps:

Preparation of Beef:
- Thoroughly wash the beef and boil it until it is completely tender. Once cooked, set aside and cut into small pieces if desired.

- Clean all the vegetables thoroughly and cut them into bite-sized pieces.

- Blend or finely chop the shallots and garlic. While chopping is fine, blending them can bring out a richer flavor.

- Heat a bit of cooking oil in a pot. Sauté the blended shallots and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the ginger, cardamom pods, and nutmeg to the pot, continuing to sauté until the aroma is released.
