Ingredients:
- 250 grams beef (cut into cubes)

- 5 candlenuts
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
- 3 lime leaves, finely sliced

- 1 tablespoon grated palm sugar
- 5 tablespoons sweet soy sauce

- 3 shallots
- 3 bird’s eye chilies (adjust to taste)
- Beef bouillon powder, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon margarine

- In a mortar and pestle or food processor, combine garlic, candlenuts, and coriander seeds to create a fine paste.
- Add the lime leaves and a pinch of salt, continuing to grind until the mixture is smooth and aromatic.

- Rub the prepared spice paste all over the beef cubes.
- Add tamarind water, grated palm sugar, and sweet soy sauce to the beef, mixing well to ensure all pieces are evenly coated.
- Allow the beef to marinate for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

- Heat the margarine in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Finely chop the garlic, shallots, and bird’s eye chilies, and add them to the skillet.
- Sauté until the mixture is fragrant and the shallots are translucent.
