Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg beef tripe (tuldag sapi)
  • 1/4 kg beef skin (kulit sapi)
  • Ground Spices:
    • 3 shallots
    • 5 cloves garlic
    • Salt to taste
    • Pepper to taste
    • 1 pack beef broth seasoning
  • Garnishes:
    • Chopped green onions
    • Chopped celery

Instructions:

  1. Begin by placing the beef tripe and beef skin in a large pot filled with water. Bring to a boil and then simmer, adding more water as necessary, until the meat is tender and fully cooked. This process may take some time to achieve the desired softness.

  2. While the beef is cooking, prepare the ground spices. Use a mortar and pestle or a food processor to blend the shallots and garlic into a smooth paste.

  3. Once the beef is tender, add the ground spice mixture to the pot. Stir well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed throughout the soup.

  4. Season the soup with salt, pepper, and the beef broth seasoning. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed to suit your preferences.
