Ingredients:
- 1/2 chicken, cut into pieces
- Potatoes, as desired
- Spice Paste:
- Garlic, adjust to taste
- Shallots
- Black pepper
- Candle nuts
- Nutmeg, a pinch
- Red curly chili peppers, for heat (optional)
- Ginger, a small piece
- Spices:
- Bay leaves
- Galangal
- Lemongrass
- Cardamom
- Cinnamon
- Slices of onion
- Tomato slices
- Salt
- Sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
- A pinch of seasoning powder
- Lime for marinating chicken
Steps:
- Clean the chicken thoroughly and marinate with lime juice.
- Rinse the chicken again and rub with salt, then briefly boil and fry until golden brown.
- Fry the potatoes according to your preference until golden brown and set aside.
