Semur Ayam Tahu Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 10 pieces of fried tofu
- 2 cloves garlic
- 5 shallots
- 2 candlenuts
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- White sugar, to taste
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 kaffir lime leaf
- 1 stalk lemongrass (optional)
- 1 thumb-sized piece of galangal, sliced
- 200 ml water
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Prepare the Chicken and Tofu:
- Fry the chicken pieces until they are golden brown.
- Fry the tofu pieces until crispy. Set aside.

Cook the Spice Paste:
- Heat the cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
