Crispy Ayam (Indonesian Crispy Chicken)

Ingredients:

For the Marinade:

  • 2 pieces of chicken
  • 1 tablespoon sambal sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • Minced garlic, to taste
  • Ground pepper, to taste
  • Royco seasoning, to taste
  • Ground coriander, to taste

For the Coating:

  • 100 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Oil for frying
  • Water for the wet batter

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Start by cleaning the chicken pieces thoroughly. Place them in a bowl and coat with the marinade ingredients. Make sure each piece is evenly coated with sambal sauce, tomato sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, ground pepper, Royco seasoning, and ground coriander.
