Indonesian Egg Skewers (Telur Gulung) Recipe
Telur Gulung / Sate Telur Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons water
- A pinch of salt
- Optional: a pinch of seasoning or pepper for added flavor

Steps:
- 
Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together the egg, water, and salt until well combined. If desired, add a pinch of your preferred seasoning or pepper to enhance the flavor.

Heat the Oil: In a frying pan, pour a generous amount of oil and heat it until it is very hot. The oil needs to be sufficiently hot to ensure the egg cooks quickly and evenly.

Cook the Egg: Once the oil is hot, pour a small ladleful of the egg mixture into the pan. The amount should be just enough to cover the base of the pan thinly.

Roll the Egg: As soon as the egg mixture begins to set, use a skewer to carefully roll the egg from one edge to the other, forming a spiral or roll.

Crisp the Egg Roll: Allow the rolled egg to cook for a short while until it becomes slightly crispy on the outside.

Repeat: Remove the rolled egg from the pan and repeat the process until all the egg mixture is used. 
- 
Serve: Once all the egg rolls are cooked, arrange them on a plate and serve immediately.
