Indonesian Grilled Carp Soup (Sup Gurame)
Ingredients:

- 1 piece carp fish (about 500g), cleaned
- Sufficient water
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 scallion, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 piece galangal, bruised
- 1 stalk lemongrass, bruised
- Seasoning Paste:
- 2 cloves garlic
- Ground pepper to taste
- Ginger
- Salt
- Sugar
- Seasoning powder
- 1/2 tomato
Instructions:

Rinse the carp fish thoroughly, then rub with ginger and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.

Heat water in a pot and add the fish and seasoning paste.

Add the sliced carrot and adjust the seasoning to taste.

Once adjusted, add the bruised galangal, lemongrass, tomato, celery, and scallion.

Simmer until the fish and vegetables are cooked through.
