Perkedel Kentang Sapi (Potato Beef Fritters)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg potatoes
- 1/4 kg beef
- 1 green onion
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- Cooking oil
- Seasonings:
- 2 shallots
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 packet of ground black pepper (Ladaku)
- Salt to taste
- Beef bouillon (Royco) to taste
Instructions:

Prepare the Beef:
- Finely chop the beef or use a manual grinder/blender to achieve a coarse consistency.
- Steam the beef or sauté it with a little water until fully cooked.

Prepare the Potatoes:
- Cut the potatoes into eight pieces each.
- Fry the potato pieces until they are fully cooked and golden brown.
- Mash the fried potatoes using a mortar and pestle or a masher.

Prepare the Aromatics:
- Chop the garlic and shallots.
- Fry the chopped garlic and shallots until they are fragrant and slightly golden.

Combine Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, cooked beef, fried garlic and shallots, and finely chopped green onion using your hands until well combined.

Prepare the Eggs:
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
- Mix the egg yolks with the potato and beef mixture.
- Season the mixture with salt, ground black pepper (Ladaku), and beef bouillon (Royco). Mix thoroughly using your hands.

Form the Fritters:
- Shape the mixture into patties of your desired shape, whether flat, oval, or round.
- Dip each patty into the egg whites, then coat it with bread crumbs.

Fry the Fritters:
- Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the coated patties until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

- Drain the fritters on paper towels to remove excess oil.
