  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper (merica bubuk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander (ketumbar bubuk)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Spice Paste: Begin by making the spice paste. In a blender or food processor, combine the red chilies, shallots, garlic cloves, candlenuts, nutmeg, galangal, and ginger. Blend until you achieve a smooth paste.

  2. Sauté the Spice Paste: Heat a little oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the spice paste and sauté until fragrant and cooked through. Once the paste is cooked, turn off the heat.
