Ingredients

- 700 ml water

- 6 shallots
- 5 red bird’s eye chilies (cabai rawit merah)
- 2 cm turmeric, roasted and chopped
- 2 cm ginger
- 8 candlenuts (kemiri), roasted
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
