Place a heatproof bowl over the saucepan, ensuring it doesnโ€™t touch the water. Break the chocolate into pieces and add them to the bowl (alternatively, use dark chocolate chips). Stir gently with a wooden spoon until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

  2. Add Butter and Sugar: Once the chocolate is melted, add the butter to the bowl, stirring until the butter has completely melted and combined with the chocolate. Then, stir in the brown sugar, mixing well until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

  3. Incorporate Eggs and Vanilla: Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring continuously. Make sure each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
