Beef Patty Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250 grams ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 slice of white bread, crusts removed, torn into small pieces
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Steps

  1. Prepare the Bread Mixture:

    • In a small bowl, combine the torn pieces of white bread with the milk.
    • Mix well until the bread is thoroughly moistened and breaks down into a soft mixture.
  2. Combine Ingredients:

    • In a larger mixing bowl, add the ground beef, finely chopped onion, garlic, and dried oregano.
    • Add the bread and milk mixture to the bowl.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Mix and Test:

    • Mix all ingredients together until well combined.
    • To check the seasoning, take a small portion of the mixture and cook it in a pan with a little oil.

  4. Shape the Patties:

    • For a classic cheeseburger, serve the patties in burger buns with tomato sauce, cheese, and pickles.
