Instructions

  1. Prepare the Batter:
    Begin by mixing all the ingredients (onion, green chilli, curry leaves, cumin seeds, dill leaves, and salt) into the idli dosa batter. Ensure the mixture is well combined for an even distribution of flavors.

  2. Heat the Paniyaram Pan:
    Place a paniyaram pan on medium heat and add a small amount of ghee or oil in each of the depressions. This will help create a crispy exterior on the fritters.

  3. Cook the Paddus:
    Once the pan is hot, carefully pour the batter into each depression of the pan, filling them to about 3/4th of the way. Cook the paddu until they turn golden brown on one side.

  4. Flip and Cook:
    Using a skewer or a spoon, gently flip each paddu to cook the other side. You may add a little more ghee or oil if necessary to ensure a crisp texture.

  5. Finish and Serve:
    Continue cooking the paddus until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides. Once cooked, transfer them to a plate.

  6. Serving Suggestion:
