Karnataka Style Moolangi Chutney
Description: Karnataka Style Moolangi Chutney is a flavorful side dish made by grinding cooked radish, lentils, and spices, and then tempering it with mustard seeds and curry leaves. This chutney can be served with meals or enjoyed as a snack.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup grated radish
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons white urad dal
- 1 teaspoon chana dal
- 4 dried red chillies
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- A pinch of asafoetida
- 18 grams tamarind
- Salt, to taste
- 1 teaspoon oil for tempering
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 10 curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon oil

Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Instructions:
- Begin by grating the radish and thinly slicing the onion. Set them aside.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the white urad dal, chana dal, dried red chillies, turmeric powder, and a pinch of asafoetida. Sauté until the dals turn golden brown. Once done, turn off the heat and let the mixture cool.
- In the same pan, add the grated radish and sliced onion. Cook for 30 seconds, then add salt and continue cooking until the radish and onion soften. Remove from the pan and allow it to cool.
- Once cooled, add the roasted dal mixture, radish and onion mixture, tamarind, and salt to a mixer grinder. Grind all the ingredients together until smooth.
- For tempering, heat oil in a small pan. Add mustard seeds and cook for 10 seconds. Then, add curry leaves and sauté for an additional 20 seconds. Pour this tempering over the chutney and mix well.
- Serve your Karnataka Style Moolangi Chutney alongside Idli or Ghee Roast Dosa for a delicious breakfast.
