- 2 Ripe Nendran Bananas (Nendra Pazham)
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 teaspoon Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)
- Oil (for frying)

Instructions:
- Peel the fully ripe Nendran bananas and cut them into thin circular slices.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium flame. Drop the banana slices into the hot oil and fry until they turn golden brown on both sides. Drain excess oil using kitchen paper and set aside. Continue frying the remaining banana slices in batches.
- In a separate saucepan, add water and sugar. Stir the mixture continuously over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Add cardamom powder and bring the mixture to a boil, simmering until it thickens into a syrup.
- Remove the syrup from the heat and pour it into a deep bowl. Add the fried banana slices into the syrup and allow them to soak for about 2 hours.
- Serve the delicious Nendran Banana Jamun as a sweet dessert after a Kerala-style meal, such as Mambazha Pulissery, Snake Gourd Thoran, and Steamed Rice.
