Mozzarella Egg Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of white bread, crusts removed
- Chicken floss (abon ayam)
- Olive oil
- Fresh lettuce
- Fresh tomato, sliced
- Mayonnaise
- Chili sauce
- 1 fried egg (telur ceplok)
- Mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine the fresh lettuce and tomato slices with a drizzle of olive oil and a dollop of mayonnaise. Toss gently to coat the vegetables evenly.
- On one slice of bread, layer the lettuce mixture, tomato slices, chicken floss, and mozzarella cheese. Top with the second slice of bread to create a sandwich.
- Place the assembled sandwich in the oven and bake at a high temperature for 1-3 minutes, or until the mozzarella cheese has melted to your desired consistency.
- Once the cheese is melted, carefully remove the sandwich from the oven and place the fried egg on top. Drizzle with a bit of chili sauce or tomato sauce to add extra flavor.
- Serve the sandwich warm, ideally paired with a glass of hot milk for a satisfying breakfast.
