Mozzarella Egg Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of white bread, crusts removed
  • Chicken floss (abon ayam)
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh lettuce
  • Fresh tomato, sliced
  • Mayonnaise
  • Chili sauce
  • 1 fried egg (telur ceplok)
  • Mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the fresh lettuce and tomato slices with a drizzle of olive oil and a dollop of mayonnaise. Toss gently to coat the vegetables evenly.
  2. On one slice of bread, layer the lettuce mixture, tomato slices, chicken floss, and mozzarella cheese. Top with the second slice of bread to create a sandwich.
  3. Place the assembled sandwich in the oven and bake at a high temperature for 1-3 minutes, or until the mozzarella cheese has melted to your desired consistency.
  4. Once the cheese is melted, carefully remove the sandwich from the oven and place the fried egg on top. Drizzle with a bit of chili sauce or tomato sauce to add extra flavor.
  5. Serve the sandwich warm, ideally paired with a glass of hot milk for a satisfying breakfast.
