Mini Chicken Tempe Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 10 burger buns
  • 10 lettuce leaves
  • 5 fresh tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 10 tablespoons chili or tomato sauce
  • 10 tablespoons mayonnaise

For the Chicken Tempe Patties:

  • 300 grams chicken meat
  • 300 grams tempe, finely chopped
  • 100 grams seasoned flour
  • 4 stalks celery, finely chopped
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chicken powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Patties:

    • Finely chop the tempe and grind the chicken meat. Combine them in a mixing bowl with the spring onions, celery, and all the seasonings (white pepper powder, garlic powder, chicken powder, and salt).
    • Mix the ingredients thoroughly, then add the seasoned flour. Continue mixing until everything is well incorporated.
  2. Shape the Patties:

    • Take approximately 40 grams of the mixture and shape it into a round, flat patty. Repeat this process until all the mixture is used.
    • Heat a small amount of oil in a non-stick frying pan (teflon) over medium heat. Fry the patties for about 3 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Assemble the Burgers:

    • Slice the burger buns in half. Begin assembling your mini burgers by placing the patties on the bottom half of each bun.
    • Top each patty with a lettuce leaf, a few slices of tomato, and cucumber.
    • Spread chili or tomato sauce and mayonnaise on the top half of the buns, then place them on top of the burgers.
  4. Serve:

    • Your delicious Mini Chicken Tempe Burgers are ready to enjoy. Serve immediately and savor the delightful flavors! 😊
