  1. Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 13 x 9-inch cake tray with aluminum foil and grease the foil with butter to prevent the cake from sticking.

  2. Prepare the Cake Batter:

    • Sift the all-purpose flour (maida) into a mixing bowl to remove any lumps.
    • In a separate large bowl, beat the whole eggs using a hand mixer on high speed for about 2-3 minutes until the eggs become thick and fluffy.
    • Add the hot water to the egg mixture and continue beating for a few more seconds.
