Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup carrots, diced
- 1/2 cup green capsicum (bell pepper), diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup whole wheat pasta
- 1/2 cup chickpeas (or substitute with other beans)
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp basil powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder (or red chili flakes)
- 1/2 tsp whole black pepper, crushed
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- 4 cups water
- 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and garlic, cooking for 2 to 3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
- Add the diced carrots, green capsicum, chickpeas, tomatoes, tomato ketchup, basil powder, cinnamon, paprika powder, crushed black pepper, turmeric powder, and salt. Stir everything together and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the vegetables are soft.
- Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
- Add the pasta and cook for an additional 8 to 10 minutes until the pasta is tender.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper, if needed.
