🍽️ Recipe Instructions:
- Begin by boiling the potatoes whole in their skins for approximately 20 minutes until tender.
- Meanwhile, boil the eggs for about 10 minutes until hard-boiled.
- While the potatoes, eggs, and water are boiling, wash and dry the iceberg lettuce. Tear it into bite-sized pieces and arrange it in the base of a large salad bowl.
- Cut the tomatoes into segments, about eighths, and set them aside.
- Prepare the green beans by topping and tailing them, then cutting them into inch lengths. Place them in a separate bowl.
- Once the water is boiling, pour it over the green beans and let them sit for two minutes. Then, drain and refresh them in cold water.
- Once the eggs are boiled, peel them and cut them into quarters.
- Drain the tuna and break it into bite-sized chunks.
- When the potatoes are cooked, drain them and halve them. Place them in the salad bowl on top of the lettuce.
- Follow the potatoes with the green beans, tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, kalamata olives, and tuna. Arrange them neatly on top of the potatoes, but do not toss the salad.
- Just before serving, add generous dollops of mayonnaise over the salad.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious blend of flavors and textures in this Tuna Nicoise Salad.
