Beef and Vegetable Soup for Little Ones

Ingredients:

  • Several slices of beef
  • Vegetables (carrots, potatoes, cabbage, celery, green onions)

  • 2 shallots
  • 1 candlenut
  • 300 ml water (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Beef broth powder, to taste

Steps:

  1. Begin by cutting the beef and vegetables into small pieces, ensuring they are appropriately sized for a young child’s meal. Clean them thoroughly under running water.

  2. Next, prepare the spice mixture by grinding the garlic, shallots, and candlenut until they form a smooth paste.

  3. In a pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the chopped vegetables and beef to the pot.

  4. Stir in the ground spice paste, salt, and beef broth powder. Mix well to combine the flavors.

  5. Let the soup simmer until the vegetables are tender and the beef is cooked through, which should take some time. Adjust the seasoning as needed.

  6. Once the vegetables are soft and the beef is tender, taste the soup and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Remove from heat and serve warm.
