Artichokes and Salami on Olive Puff Pastry

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Artichokes
    Start by cleaning the artichokes. Remove the tough outer leaves, trim the ends, and cut them into thin wedges. Place them in a bowl of water with a splash of lemon juice to prevent them from oxidizing and turning brown.

  2. Cook the Artichokes
    In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the artichoke wedges to the pan and sauté them for a few minutes. If the artichokes start to dry out, add a little vegetable broth to keep them moist. Continue to cook until the artichokes are tender and golden.

  3. Prepare the Puff Pastry
