Instructions:
- To make the Amrud Ni Curry, start by heating oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat.
- Add mustard seeds and asafoetida to the oil. Let them sizzle for about 10 seconds.
- Next, add the chopped guavas to the cooker along with the red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, jaggery, and salt.
- Pour in about 1 cup of water, mix everything together, and close the lid of the pressure cooker.
- Cook the curry for 3 whistles, then turn off the heat and allow the pressure to release naturally.
- Once the pressure has released, open the lid and your delicious Parsi-style guava curry is ready!
