Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- Salt to taste
- Ground pepper to taste
- Dried parsley to taste
- 1 chicken or beef sausage, cut into small pieces
- 1 plate of liwet rice (Indonesian seasoned rice)
Steps:
- Heat a frying pan and add enough vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot, turn off the heat temporarily.
- Carefully crack the egg into the pan, ensuring the yolk remains intact. Arrange the sausage pieces around the egg white, forming a ring around the yolk.
- Turn the heat back on to a very low setting. Season with ground pepper, dried parsley, and salt to taste. Cook on low heat until the egg is fully cooked through.
