This delightful side dish was born out of necessity one evening, accompanying some succulent grilled steaks. Since then, it has become a frequent star on our table whenever a quick, flavorful vegetable is called for. Bursting with the freshness of peas, the earthiness of mushrooms, and the subtle sweetness of onions, this dish is a delightful addition to any meal. Plus, it’s heart-healthy and low in cholesterol, making it a guilt-free indulgence.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen baby peas
- 1 cup button mushrooms
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Sea salt, to taste
- Fresh cracked pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Step | Description |

2 | Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet, followed by the chopped onions and mushrooms. Sauté them for 3 to 5 minutes, until they start to soften and become fragrant. |
