Perfectly Cooked Hard-Boiled Eggs
Ingredients:
- 6 eggs (or fewer, if desired)
- 200 ml water
- 1-liter saucepan with a lid
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Eggs: Start by washing the eggs thoroughly under cold water. Place them gently into a 1-liter saucepan.
-
Add Water: Pour 200 ml of water into the saucepan over the eggs. Make sure the eggs are completely covered by the water.
-
Boil the Eggs: Cover the saucepan with its lid and place it on the stove. Bring the water to a vigorous boil over high heat. Once the water reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
-
Turn Off the Heat: After simmering for 3 minutes, turn off the heat but keep the lid on the saucepan. Allow the eggs to sit undisturbed in the covered pot for 9 minutes. Do not lift the lid during this time.
-
Finish and Serve: After 9 minutes, carefully remove the eggs from the pan. The eggs will be perfectly cooked with a firm white and a creamy yolk.
Note: For best results, avoid opening the lid during both the boiling and resting periods. This ensures the eggs are cooked evenly and to perfection.
Enjoy your perfectly cooked hard-boiled eggs as a nutritious snack, or use them in your favorite recipes!
